Organisational Structure

AIPA is managed by a Committee of Management (COM) comprising 40 pilots elected by the whole membership. Office Bearer positions are elected by the Committee of Management from its own numbers, and have specific powers, duties and responsibilities as outlined in AIPA’s registered Rules.

Staff

AIPA maintains a core of professional and administrative staff and consultant services. The Sydney and Melbourne based AIPA offices are responsible for providing administrative action and support under the direction of the Office Bearers and Committee of Management. The AIPA offices provide a support function for all of AIPA’s policy development and implementation activities and processes all documentation and publications, both incoming and outgoing.
